TCP Self Clock


Data and acknowledgment packets circulate in the network

For every (two) data packets arriving at the receiver it replies with one ACK

For every ACK arriving at the sender sends (one, two or three) data packets

TCP transmission timing reflects the data delivered in the previous RTT
