University of Pittsburgh Trees Hall Pool.
Noted for its unusual water clarity, Trees Pool is the home of Team Pittsburgh Masters swimming.

These photos were taken during the summer of 1997 when the pool was drained and re-painted.  The "PITTSBURGH" name was added at that time.  The banners at the far end of the pool on the right represent Big East championship teams.

Below is a photo of the pool in use for a club workout, Summer, 1998

Pittsburgh is noted for its hilly terrain.  This view of row houses on a steep hillside, Dunseith Street, was taken in the summer of 1998.  across the street from the main entrance to Trees Hall, at the corners of Darrah, Dunseith, and Allequippa.
