Me (seated) doing a demonstration for
Congressman Robert Walker, PSC Executive Director Beverly Clayton,
and PSC Scientific Directors Mike Levine and Ralph Roskies (left to right).
My primary project is the development of the FIASCO software for statistical analysis of fMRI data, in connection with the Center for Cognitive Brain Imaging. I also sometimes teach CS 15-462, Intro to Computer Graphics at CMU.
Other recent projects include the distributed volume renderer VFleet and a demo (shown at Supercomputing '95) to send live animation of the collision of the Milky Way and Andromeda Galaxies across the I-WAY high speed network to a remote VR environment. Both are done in connection with the Grand Challenge Cosmology Consortium.
Here are my CV, publication list, and personal home page. My hotlist has many useful science, astronomy, computational science, and computer graphics links.
